Inside, the tan lining is stamped MADE IN ITALY, and a metal-tone strip runs along the inside of the frame.

There is no strap or handle, so the bag is carried in the hand or tucked under the arm.

At 17 × 26 cm the pouch takes a phone, keys, cards and glasses without losing its soft shape. The red holds up in daylight, where the grain shows, and reads as a single strong colour against a black dress, a camel coat or a grey wool coat. The pale frame lifts it away from dark clothing.

Details

Type: Frame clutch bag

Era: 1970s

Origin: Italy

Material: Red grained leather or leather-effect, cream plastic frame

Lining: Tan

Size: 17 × 26 cm

Weight: 198 g

Marked: Yes — "MADE IN ITALY" stamped on lining

Closure: Twin knob frame clasp

Handle: None, carried by hand

Condition

Very Good · Clean lining, frame intact, clasp closes.
