The case has real decorative presence — the floral engravings run the full height of both side panels, and the fleur-de-lis finial is cast metal rather than moulded plastic.
A wooden mantel clock in black and gold, with a large fleur-de-lis finial at the apex, four corner spire finials, and claw feet in brass-tone metal. The dial face has Roman numerals and ornate black hands. Access to the battery compartment is via a hinged rear door.
The clock needs work before it can be used as-is: the movement requires replacement, one part is missing, and the paintwork will benefit from touching up. Sold as an upcycle or restoration project — the case itself is the asset.
The proportions are upright and architectural, closer in feeling to a miniature cabinet than a conventional desk clock. The claw feet and brass-tone hardware give it shelf presence.
