Pierre Cardin sets in this condition — chain intact, stones all present, both pieces matching — are not something you see every day.
A 1980s–1990s signed Pierre Cardin jewellery set: a flat herringbone necklace with a rhinestone-pavé knot focal piece, paired with matching stud earrings in the same knot design. The necklace closes with a spring ring and has a short extender chain for length adjustment. The earrings are post-back with butterfly fittings.
The knot motif is the signature design element — a bold circle of paved clear rhinestones threaded through a smooth gold-tone bar. Consistent across both pieces, which is not always the case with vintage sets.
The necklace sits at the collarbone and works well open-neck — a shirt, a scarf pushed back, a sweetheart neckline. The earrings are small enough to wear daily without feeling like a statement, large enough to read as deliberate. The set can be worn together or separately.
