Paste rhinestone necklaces of this quality and construction are increasingly difficult to find in one piece.
A gold-tone chain necklace from the Art Deco or early mid-century period, set with clear rhinestones in multiple cuts — round brilliants, pear drops, and square stones arranged in a graduated V-shaped cluster at the centre. Two smaller floral clusters flank the main pendant. The setting shows the characteristic open-back prong work of the era, and the chain has acquired a warm amber patina consistent with its age.
The spring ring clasp is original and functional.
The length sits at approximately 38 cm — a classic princess length that falls at the collarbone. The pendant cluster measures around 6 cm across, which gives it real presence without being heavy. Wears well over a plain neckline, a silk blouse, or a simple dress where the stones can catch the light. The worn gold-tone patina reads as authentically old rather than simply aged, which suits formal and vintage-styled occasions alike.
