Fusilier grenade badges in this flaming-plume form are among the most recognisable British regimental emblems.
A cast gold-tone military badge in the classic fusilier grenade pattern — a bursting flame rising from a ball, paired with a circular disc bearing a Tudor rose device. The form is characteristic of British Army fusilier and grenadier regiments and dates from the mid-twentieth century.
The piece is unattached: there is no pin, post, or clasp on the reverse. It is not currently wearable as a brooch without a jeweller fitting a suitable fastener (a pin-back glued or soldered to the flat reverse). As it stands, it works as a display piece or as raw material for a badge collector.
At 5 × 3 cm, the badge is a good desk or shadowbox piece — it sits flat and reads clearly at that scale. Pairs naturally with other militaria: cap badges, medal ribbons, regimental buttons.
