Military cap badges in bi-metal construction are less commonly found in this condition.
A British regimental cap badge, most likely the Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment), dating from the 1950s. The piece is two-part construction: a gold-tone flaming grenade on the left and a silver-tone circular disc on the right, bearing the Latin motto "FATA VOCANT" (The Fates Are Calling) around the rim and a mounted knight figure at the centre.
The slider bar on the reverse is the original cap fastening — this is how the badge was worn on a military dress cap or beret.
The scale is compact at 4 × 2 cm. It works pinned to a lapel or jacket with a brooch converter, or displayed in a frame or shadow box alongside other regimental pieces. The two-tone metal gives it visual weight without bulk — the kind of piece a collector wears with a dark blazer rather than leaving in a drawer.
