A rhinestone rivière necklace with three pendant drops — the kind of piece that was made for a cocktail dress and looks right on one.
A mid-century silver-tone necklace set with clear faceted rhinestones throughout the chain, graduating to three geometric drop pendants at the centre front. The drops are cluster-set, each built around a large round rhinestone framed by smaller stones in a diamond pattern.
The design sits in the 1950s–early 1960s tradition of formal evening wear — before rhinestones became ironic, when a full rhinestone set was genuinely aspirational.
The necklace sits at the collarbone and reads best against a bare neckline or a low-cut dress. It also layers well over a plain cashmere crew neck — the silver-tone is cool enough to sit quietly rather than compete.
