Vintage 1960s Black Beaded Evening Clutch Bag Gold-Tone Aurora Borealis Frame

Beaded evening bags with filigree frames don't often come with the chain intact and the lining still clean.

A 1960s black evening clutch in densely embroidered fabric, covered with circular rosette motifs worked in black beads and aurora borealis sequins — the kind of iridescent shimmer that shifts from blue to purple to green depending on the light. The gold-tone filigree frame is engraved with a repeating scroll pattern, and the kiss-lock clasp knobs are each set with a small aurora borealis rhinestone.

The short snake chain (30 cm) attaches at both sides of the frame. The interior is black satin-lined with a single internal divider.
