Pastel glass cabochons in this arrangement — pale blue, turquoise, mint, pink, lavender — read like a colour chart for the optimistic end of the 1960s.
A flower-shaped pendant on a fine gold-tone curb chain. Six marquise-cut opaque glass cabochons radiate outward from a central clear rhinestone, with six smaller rhinestones filling the gaps between them. The setting is a warm antique gold-tone with visible age on the reverse — the kind of patina that tells you this is the real thing, not a reproduction.
The pastel moonglow palette is the giveaway: that frosted, almost iridescent quality in the stones was a hallmark of mid-century costume jewellery production and largely disappeared by the 1970s.
Sits at mid-chest on a standard chain length. The pendant is small enough to wear daily but the colour combination makes it the most noticed thing in an outfit. Layers well over plain-colour tops; holds its own without competing against a patterned blouse. The spring-ring clasp functions well.
