Coin pendants like this one were a common way to give an old sixpence a second life instead of leaving it in a drawer.
A silver-tone Elizabeth II sixpence set into an ornate pierced filigree frame, with a small jump ring at the top ready for a chain. The reverse shows the crowned rose, thistle, shamrock and leek design used on British sixpences through the 1950s and 1960s.
The scalloped, lace-like border gives the coin more presence than it would have alone, while leaving the original strike fully visible on both faces.
Small and flat enough to sit close to the neck on a fine chain, light enough for daily wear. Works layered with other pendants or worn alone. Pendant only — no chain included.
