Silver-tone square cufflinks in this clean geometric format are harder to find than round or oval pairs.
A pair of vintage men's cufflinks in polished silver-tone metal, each face set with a single baguette-cut blue rhinestone in a bezel setting. The faces are square with slightly rounded corners and a high-polish finish. The reverse carries a fine engine-turned crosshatch texture and a whale-back toggle mechanism.
The whale-back toggle was the dominant cufflink fastening through the 1960s and 1970s, combining ease of use with a secure hold. No maker's marks visible on either piece.
Works with a white or pale-blue dress shirt as easily as a grey or navy one. The blue stone reads as quietly considered rather than decorative, so suits both a formal business context and a dressed-up evening look. Compact enough that they sit flat under a jacket cuff without bulk.
