Suede-effect hobo bags from this period rarely keep their tab closure and rolled strap in such tidy order.
A 1970s teal-green shoulder bag with a soft napped surface and a rounded, slouching hobo shape. A pointed leather tab, stitched at the edge and pierced with several holes, closes over a brass-tone ball stud set on a round leather patch.
The thin rolled double strap loops through brass-tone D-rings at both sides. The interior is lined in light teal leather-like material with two round stitched patches.
At 20 cm wide the scale is compact, suited to a phone, keys and cards rather than a full day's load. The deep teal reads as a colour accent against camel, grey or black coats, and the nap picks up depth in side light. The thin strap sits comfortably over a knit or a jacket.
