A gold-tone charm necklace built around a real 1967 British halfpenny — the kind of piece someone assembled with intention.
The chain is a substantial gold-tone curb link, closing at the front with a T-bar toggle. Two charms hang from the central connector: a 1967 pre-decimal halfpenny (Elizabeth II obverse, Golden Hind reverse) set in a textured scalloped gold-tone mount, and a small white ceramic thimble charm with a printed circular motif. The combination reads Victorian keepsake rather than 1980s costume.
The chain sits long and the toggle keeps it centred — it doesn't shift during wear.
Works over a white shirt or simple knitwear where the coin and ceramic charm can be seen clearly. Long enough to layer over a crew neck without competing with a collar. The figural charms give it a collector's quality that plain chain necklaces lack.
