The fan-fringe bar detail on the shoulders is what places this squarely in the 1980s — that particular motif was everywhere for about a decade and then stopped completely.

A costume necklace from the 1980s, gold-tone metal with a bold geometric pendant at the centre: a pentagon frame with crossed diagonal lines and a pink-mauve resin cabochon set into the diamond-shaped base. Two smaller triangular pink resin stones flank the pendant on the bar-fringe section. The curb chain is chunky and substantial, with a lobster clasp and extension chain at the back.
