Vintage 1990s Silver-Tone Geometric Square Pendant Necklace Mixed Metal Amber

Mixed-metal geometric pendants of this kind were a 1990s staple — silver-tone meets gold-tone inlay in a format that still reads contemporary.

A square pendant necklace in silver-tone metal, the face divided into a geometric grid of alternating textured gold-tone inlay panels. Two faceted stones sit in the lower section: an amber-coloured square rhinestone in a raised bezel setting, and a smaller clear rhinestone alongside it. The reverse is brushed silver-tone with a vertical reeded texture. The snake chain has a lobster clasp.

No maker's mark visible. Chain approximately 40 cm, pendant approximately 4.5 × 4.5 cm.

The pendant has enough presence to wear as the only piece — the mixed metal palette means it works with both silver-tone and gold-tone jewellery on the same day. The snake chain sits close to the collarbone, so the pendant drops just below it. Works well over a crew neck, V-neck, or open collar.
