Copper-tone brooches in this leaf-and-scroll format are harder to find than the gold-tone equivalents.

A leaf brooch in copper-tone metal, the surface engraved with fine feather-vein lines across the full length of the leaf. A spiral scroll element curves at one end, giving the piece movement. The recessed areas are intentionally darkened — the two-tone oxidized finish is part of the design, not age.

No stones, no enamel. The piece is all about the metalwork.

The scale — 6.5 cm long — sits well on a lapel, coat, or the strap of a bag. The warm copper tone works with autumn and earth-tone wardrobes, but also contrasts well against black or cream. Lighter in weight than it looks; the C-clasp closure holds securely.
