Faye London made a lot of embellished bags in the early 2000s, but the level of hand-work on this one is not typical of mass production.
A structured fabric clutch in deep burgundy, heavily embroidered with roses, leaves and a scrolling red ribbon motif worked in gold thread. Iridescent blue-green seed beads accent the embroidery throughout, and the frame closure buttons are set with clear rhinestones. The antiqued brass-tone metal frame has a scroll-engraved edge and a short bronze link chain stored inside — 120 cm long, so it can be worn cross-body or tucked away for an evening clutch silhouette.
The interior is satin-lined in a dusty mauve-pink, with an inner zip pocket and the "Faye London" brand label on a teal fabric tag.
