Gold-tone bar brooches in this elongated, tapered form appeared widely in the 1980s — this one is finished more carefully than most.
A long, curved pin in gold-tone metal, tapering from a ribbed upper body down to a pavé rhinestone cluster and a faux pearl tip. The contrast between the smooth upper section and the stone-set base is intentional — two textures reading as one object.
The style is architectural more than decorative. The form resembles a stylized cornucopia or a seed pod — figural without being literal.
At 7.5 cm, it sits well on a lapel, a wide collar, or angled across a knit. It works vertically on a jacket front, or pinned at the shoulder. The scale is assertive but not oversized — it reads clearly without competing with other pieces.
