Drop earrings this elaborate — pave rhinestone arms, marquise glass stones, swinging cabochon drops — are not something you find in this condition.
A mid-century pair in gold-tone metal, set with clear rhinestones in a pave pattern across a tapered drop arm and radial cluster at the top. Blue marquise-cut glass stones punctuate the floral-geometric motif; round blue cabochon beads hang freely from the base. Screw-back clip closures on the reverse.
The construction is typical of the 1950s–1960s, when costume jewellery houses produced elaborate drop designs for eveningwear.
The 5 cm drop length reads as occasion wear — formal dinner, cocktail party, or dressing up a plain neckline. Light enough to wear all evening despite the scale. Works with navy, black, or ivory.
