Souvenir brooches of the Royal Guard are a very specific category — most have been lost, worn out, or discarded, so finding one on its original card is not common.
A gold-tone figural brooch depicting a British Royal Guard soldier, enamel-painted in red, white, and black. Still attached to its original triangular "Souvenir Brooch" card. Made in the style of British tourist trade pieces, likely 1970s–1980s.
The enamel colouring is clean and intact across all three tones. The pin closure on the reverse is functional.
A small piece — 4 cm tall — that works on a lapel, a jacket collar, or a bag strap. The military theme and the souvenir card together make it an interesting display piece as much as a wearable one. Pairs naturally with other figural or themed brooches in a collection arrangement.
