Vintage Silver-Tone Filigree Drop Earrings Screw Back Floral Foliage Statement

A pair of mid-century silver-tone drop earrings built entirely from fine wire filigree. The body forms a large open-work circle with concentric swirl lines radiating from the centre, finished along the outer edge with layered foliage motifs. The dangles at the lower edge are flat cut leaf shapes in the same silver-tone metal.

The construction is typical of mid-century European filigree work — the wire is twisted and soldered by hand, giving each curve a slight irregularity that machine-stamped pieces never have.

The scale is statement — these read across a room. They suit wide necklines, bare shoulders, or high necklines where the earrings become the focal point. The screw-back fitting is comfortable worn for a few hours and adjustable to different earlobe thicknesses.
