The staircase form with wall-to-wall rhinestones is a very specific kind of geometric design — more architectural than decorative.
A vintage silver-tone brooch shaped as a stepped cascade: six horizontal rows of clear faceted rhinestones that shorten row by row, creating a right-angled staircase profile. The construction is all-pave — no metal visible from the front, just a continuous surface of clear stones.
The back carries a trombone clasp running along the left edge, clean and functional.
The size and silhouette work well pinned to a jacket lapel or the shoulder of a coat. The all-clear rhinestone surface reads differently in different light — matte white in daylight, a sharp glitter under artificial light. Pairs naturally with black, navy, or charcoal, where the crystal surface has the most contrast.
