Sterling silver mother of pearl brooches with intact enamel borders are not often found in this condition.

A circular disc brooch in sterling silver, centred on a domed mother of pearl cabochon with an iridescent cream surface. The outer border is set with alternating blue and white triangular enamel segments in a geometric sunburst pattern — a design vocabulary typical of Art Deco costume work of the 1920s–1930s. Marked "Sterling Silver" on the reverse.

The blue enamel reads strongly against the pearl dome, giving it a graphic quality that holds its own at small scale.

The piece is small — 2.5 cm across — so it works best pinned at the collar, on a lapel, or at a neckline rather than on a coat. The colour combination suits navy, cream, and grey. The geometric border gives it enough visual weight to wear as a single accent rather than stacked.
