Ceramic brooches in this hand-painted naive style were made in small quantities and are rarely found without chips or paint loss.
A small white ceramic brooch shaped as a cottage facade, with a yellow thatched roof and green painted door and shutters. The painting is applied by hand in a simple, folk-art manner — brush strokes are visible in the roof texture, giving each piece a slightly individual character.
The back is unglazed ceramic with a roll-over safety clasp in working order.
Small enough to sit on a collar, jacket lapel, or pinned to a knit. The white ground keeps it light against most fabrics. Works well with countryside or cottagecore dressing, or as a low-key conversational piece.
