Spanish decorative porcelain in this leaf form with a hand-applied heraldic crest is not something you see often outside souvenir shops of the era — and this one has held up.
A white porcelain trinket dish shaped as a leaf, with a gilded rim and stem tip. The interior carries a hand-painted gold heraldic crest — a lion rampant within a shield, with a floral spray at the narrower end. The underside bears the original paper label: "Decorado a Mano, Oro de Ley" — Spanish for decorated by hand, real gold.
The gold is applied, not printed, which gives it a slight dimensionality when it catches the light.
On a dressing table it holds rings or earrings without cluttering the surface — the leaf shape keeps it sculptural rather than purely functional. It also works on a side table or shelf as a small catch-all. The white and gold palette pairs naturally with brass, cream, or dark wood.
